The monument and its history

The Guevara Palace is am 18th-century Baroque mountain palace, built around a medieval tower, that has been carefully restored using the same materials from the period and transformed into a modern and welcoming hotel. It is situated in Treceño, on the way between Cabezón de la Sal and San Vicente de la Barquera, close to Comillas, the Oyambre Natural Park and the Saja-Besaya Natural Reserve, in Cantabria, Spain.
It has 16 rooms, 3 of which are special suites, cafeteria and an excellent restaurant.
